1. How we collect and use information
We collect the following types of information about you:
Information you provide us directly: We ask for certain information such as your first and last name, mobile phone number, e-mail address, zip code, Car make and model, and credit card information when you create a Vosh account, or if you correspond with us. We may also retain any messages you send through the Service, and may collect information you post to the Service. We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service.
Analytics information. We use third-party analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including the web pages you visit, your browser add-ons, your browser’s width and height, and other information that assists us in improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information in aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any particular individual user.
Cookies information: Cookies are required to use Vosh. A cookie is a small data file that can include an anonymous unique identifier that is stored on the computer hard drive of the user. Vosh may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary cookies that remain in a file of the browser until logged out of the website. Session cookies do not store any personally identifying information, only a unique visitor ID that is used to improve the Vosh user experience. Persistent cookies remain in the cookie file of the browser after leaving the Vosh website. Persistent cookies also do not store any personally identifiable information. Please be aware that cookies may be required to use certain features of the Service. Vosh makes no warranties of site performance if the user changes browser settings or employs other actions to disable cookies.
Browser Information: Vosh logs IP addresses for systems administration purposes. IP addresses may also be logged to track a user’s session, to determine which parts of the website users are visiting, to identify problems in development, investigate fraudulent use of the site, and for other reasons at our discretion.
Location data: When you access the Service by or through a mobile device and elect to use an independent car wash provider identified by Vosh, we may access, collect, monitor and/or remotely store “location data,” which may include GPS coordinates (e.g. latitude and/or longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device to help our car wash provider find your vehicle and perform the cleaning.
Email communications: Vosh may use the email address you provide to contact you regarding our services. Vosh will not send unsolicited commercial e-mail unrelated to Vosh, nor will Vosh knowingly share your e-mail address with third parties. We may send you emails containing newsletters, promotions and special offers. If you do not want to receive such email messages, you will be given the option to opt out or change your preferences. We also use your information to send you service emails (e.g., account verification, purchase and billing confirmations and reminders, changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices). You may not opt out of this type of e-mail. The e-mails we send to you may contain code, which allows us to track usage of the e-mail, including whether the e-mail was opened and/or what links (if any) were clicked.
2. Disclosure of your information
We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside Vosh and its group companies (including any parent, subsidiaries and affiliates) without your consent, except as noted below:
Sharing certain service type information we collect about you: We may share certain service type information, including information obtained through tools such as cookies, log files, location data and clear gifs (such as anonymous usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.): (i) with our third-party business partners for the purposes described in the section above on “How We Collect and Use Information.” We may also aggregate or otherwise strip data of all personally identifying characteristics and may share that aggregated, anonymized data with third parties.
We may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect Vosh’s rights or property. Vosh reserves the right to use the information we collect about you for internal purposes, such as analyzing Website usage, troubleshooting, improving our marketing and promotional efforts, improving our content and product offerings, and customizing our Websites’ content, layout, and services.
What happens in the event of a change of control: We may buy or sell/divest/transfer the company (including any shares in the company), or any combination of its products, services, assets and/or businesses. Your information such as customer names and email addresses, phone numbers, and other user information related to the Service may be among the items sold or otherwise transferred in these types of transactions. We may also sell, assign or otherwise transfer such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, dissolutions, reorganizations, liquidations, similar transactions or proceedings involving all or a portion of the company.
3. How we store and protect your information
The personally identifiable and geo-location information we collect is securely stored within our database, and we use standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices such as encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Socket Layers) for protecting your information (credit card number and geo-location information). However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet, and any information you transmit to Vosh you do at your own risk. We recommend that you not disclose your password to anyone.
Compromise of information: In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Vosh will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
4. Your choices about your information
You control your account information. If you want to delete or update anything, please email us at info@vosh.ME and we will make every effort to promptly process all requests.
Opting out of collection of your information for Tracking / Advertising: Please refer to your mobile device or browser’s technical information for instructions on how to delete and disable cookies, and other tracking/recording tools. Depending on your type of device, it may not be possible to delete or disable tracking mechanisms on your mobile device. Note that disabling cookies and/or other tracking tools prevents Vosh or its business partners from tracking your browser’s activities in relation to the Service. However, doing so may disable many of the features available through the Service. If you have any questions about opting out of the collection of cookies and other tracking/recording tools, you can contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How long we keep your information: Following termination or deactivation of your User account, Vosh may retain your profile information and any information you have posted to the Service for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or audit purposes. We may retain certain aggregate or anonymous information indefinitely.
5. Age restrictions
Vosh cares about the safety of children. Because the Service is not directed toward kids, children under 16 are not allowed to register with or use the Service.
